Even if you don't know the name, you've most likely stumbled across his photos while scrolling through your IG feed, captivated by his intimate portraits of our food heroes, or the beauty of fried chicken's craggy crust. But as much as Krieger is a master of the #foodporn genre, amassing a sizeable following of his own, he's a storyteller at heart. 

As part of First We Feast's year-end tradition, we asked Krieger to share behind-the-scenes intel of some of his favorite photos in 2016, and explain what made them so special.
