Waffle House has shown the most concentrated efforts in supporting the US team in the 2014 World Cup. In anticipation of Tuesday’s second-round match between Belgium and the United States, the southern waffle powerhouse has called for a ban of Belgian waffles.
Waffle House set off the alarm with this tweet:

…which was no doubt inspired by Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits’ call to arms a few days earlier. No matter if Belgian waffles aren’t actually from Belgium, we really feel that this campaign is building US morale.
