Vancouver’s Mega ILL cafe, said to be the city’s first pizzeria-cum-vapor lounge, has been getting tons of attention as of late for its weed-topped pies.
Owner Mark Klokeid explained to CTV News that his pizzeria, which opened in December, is a “pot friendly” establishment where customers are encouraged to bring their own cannabis and can smoke out of vaporizers provided by the cafe.
Now for the really fun part: If you’re over 18 and have a medical marijuana card, you can order a “medicated pizza” drizzled with weed oil for an extra $10.
Klokeid told CTV News,
The pizzeria has been a huge success, and now Klokeid is planning to expand to Toronto in the next few months
What’s more, you can feel extra good while high and noshing on Mega ILL’s weed pizza—it’s made with “mostly organic and local ingredients,” according to the Huffington Post, and the crust is made with whole wheat, Omega 3-rich hemp hearts, and oatmeal flour.
Before this, we were scared we might have to travel to Cambodia to try weed pizza.
