This Japanese crop field might look like a regular rice paddy up close, but a bird’s-eye view will give you a completely different perspective. The rice paddy artwork is an incredible tribute to Star Wars

Mashable reports that the Star Wars homage was found in Aomori prefecture in Northern Japan earlier this month. In the YouTube video above, you can see the entire detailed work, which was created by an unknown artist.

Farmers in the Aomori region of Japan are famous for tanbo art, which involves coloring rice to create giant pictures. The tradition began when the people of Inakadate, Aomori were searching for a way to make their drab rice paddies more aesthetically pleasing.

The Star Wars-themed rice paddy features classic characters such as BB-8, C-3PO and R2-D2. The artist was so detail-oriented that he even added a trademark at the bottom of the logo.
