Miami Heat’s Lebron James is a huge fan of Swensons Drive In, located in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. He posted this video on Instagram yesterday, which shows @kingjames grabbing a burger from Swensons as soon as he returned to Akron after the NBA Championship. The king says, “The first place that I have to stop at is Swensons. Oh yeah, it’s a must.”
Lebron isn’t the only famous Swensons fan—other notable proponents include Maybach Music and Ohio’s own Stalley. “They have about 15,000 different milkshakes,” Stalley told us. “The pumpkin one is a seasonal. I haven’t had it, but everyone says it’s very good.” Besides being heralded by musicians and athletes, the Swensons patty was anointed the nation’s tastiest by Forbes back in 1999.
