Eater reports that Los Angeles has proven it’s greatness, once again, by offering burritos out of a vending machine at a 24 hour gas station in West Hollywood. ‘The Burritobox’ was created by Box Brands, and the company describes it as “the world’s first burrito kiosk.”
Here’s the procedure: Customers select what kind of burrito they want, select toppings, and then the machine pops out an Evol brand burrito. The best sounding flavor has to be uncured bacon with egg and cheese.
The whole process takes less than a minute, and the machine can play music videos or movie trailers while customers wait. Now that’s what we call customer service. The company has announced plans for a second kiosk to open in Century City on January 18.
