If you follow the career of 2 Chainz, you're aware of his obsession with Benihana. The ATL rapper certified his teppenyaki cred with the recent release of his mixtape Hibachi for Lunch, and took things further when he treated a random group of fans to Benihana for a free meal. But Tity Boi doesn't strictly eat onion volcanoes and "pocket shrimp." The emcee and 'Most Expensive Shit' host has refined taste, and is proving that with his most recent project, Escobar—a tapas bar in Atlanta that opened to the public today.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 2 Chainz tapped ex-celebrity personal chef DePhon R. Robinson, who's previously spent time cooking for Gabriel Union, Olympic runner Carl Lewis, and Queen Latifah.

The menu will feature a mix of tapas and soul food classics, with crab cakes, collard greens, lobster tail, and hot chicken sliders all finding space on the table.

And according to 2 Chainz' Instagram, Escobar is pristine. The rapper posted a photo of the restaurant's health inspection, showing a 99% and an A grade. As Chainz boasted in the caption, "I've always had good grades."

Which is why 2 Chainz was smart enough to offer cocktails out of a giant fishbowl.

Escobar is open right now, in Atlanta's Castlberry Hill neighborhood. Pay respect to an ATL legend—whether it's before or after heading to Benihana.
