During Season 1 of Viceland’s Dead Set on Life, Matty Matheson established himself as one of the more exciting new voices in food and travel television, joining the ranks of Eddie Huang and Action Bronson. Tattooed, mustachioed, and hopelessly Canadian, Matheson’s “boisterously warm” personality took center-stage as he ate Longanisa sausages in Manila, went lobster fishing in Nova Scotia, and duck hunting in Saskatchewan.
Now, Matheson is back, with Season 2 of Dead Set on Life premiering on Viceland October 27. From a short, minute-long trailer released Tuesday, it appears the new season will contain a heavy dose of twerking, wrestling, dog sledding, and noodle-eating.
