Chipotle—never one to pass up the opportunity to give away even more free food—will be doling out complimentary burritos to Indians and Cubs diehards Tuesday night.
According to Cleveland.com, the Tex-Mex behemoth is taking advantage of the World Series by offering buy-one-get-one-free burritos to baseball fans in Cleveland and Chicago during the fall classic. The deal is good until 10 p.m., so if you're in the Midwest, work up some team spirit and head over to your local Chipotle.
The deal only applies to fans dressed in their team’s gear, which shouldn't be too much of an inconvenience for two cities that have seldom seen a baseball diamond this far into October.
If you can't make it to Chipotle though, there are still World Series deals to be had. As long as at least one player in the series steals a base, Taco Bell will be giving everyone in America a free Doritos Loco Taco. If the stolen base occurs in game 1 or 2, you can grab your taco on November 2nd, and if the first stolen base is anywhere in games 3-7, you can pick up that taco on November 10th.
Of course, if you're one of the lucky thousands that can make it to a World Series game in Cleveland, you can enjoy two new menu items added to the stadium food menu: “The Nap Attack” and “When Pigs Fly.”
The Nap Attack is a giant turkey leg braised in Ohio apple cider and butter, while When Pigs Fly consists of fried pork shank wings. The latter’s name, of course, pokes fun at both teams’ longstanding droughts when it comes to the World Series.
While this moment has been a long time coming in the Midwest, it looks like it'll be pretty easy to stay full while watching the World Series this year. Besides, if baseball isn’t your game, you could take advantage of the deals while watching the start of the NBA season.
