In a name-dropping interview with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night, Jonah Hill detailed exactly how he’s been able to drop so much weight following the filming of War Dogs earlier this years.
For obvious reasons, Hill’s first move was to call up former co-star Channing Tatum, who, after calling the actor a “dumb mother fucker” for his cluelessness, promptly directed him to a nutritionist.
Hill was tasked with keeping a “food diary” each night—a log of every piece of food he ate throughout the day, which he would later email to his doctor. But since Hill had his nutritionist saved in his phone under “Dr.,” one night the list accidentally went to an unintended recipient.
“One night I was at home and bored, and was like ‘Oh I didn’t email this guy,’” Hill began. “I was looking like an hour later through my sent messages. And it must have been ‘Dr’ because it was doctor, and I had sent it to Drake.”
At first, this doesn’t seem like a big deal. Hill is incredibly famous. He’s been nominated for Academy Awards. Leonardo DiCaprio casually pranks him on the street. Him and Drake are probably tight. Unfortunately, that’s not the case.
Drake—who I don’t know well at all, I met him once—he just got an email from me that said like yogurt, salad, chicken,” Hill continues, chuckling. “He wrote back, ‘You went from 0 to 100 calories real quick.’ Nah, he didn’t write back, never spoke to him again.”
“Another guy I’ve gotta dump for the rest of my life,” he adds. “A laundry list of people I can never speak to again.”
