Few artists have been able to straddle the line that divides music and food quite like Action Bronson, beefing with rap legends like Ghostface Killah one moment, and eating dinner with celebrity chefs like Mario Batali the next.
As a semi-retired gourmet chef and the host of Viceland's Fuck That's Delicious, it's safe to assume that any event Bam Bam headlines is going to feature some flares from the kitchen. But while most musicians might throw a splintered drumstick off stage during a performance, Bronson went ahead and chucked a 1,800-watt high sear "smart grill" into the crowd this weekend during a performance at Coney Island's Ford Amphitheater.
One lucky fan later shared a photo of her new grill on Twitter, thanking the rapper for the gift, but Bronson could also be seen throwing a slew of other kitchen appliances into the audience.
The concert was part of a beach-side event Bronson put on with Sports Illustrated (swimsuit models Ashley Graham, Nina Agdal, and Hannah Davis Jeter were in attendance, as if your FOMO wasn't bad enough already), and featured a fleet of food trucks curated by the rapper. For the event, Bronsolino also unveiled the “Under the Boardwalk Spicy Fried Clam Sandwich"—a take on the Nathan's Famous classic with, yes, fried clam strips sandwiched between a hotdog bun.
