Ladies know the situation all too well: You're midway through your first date with a stranger and suddenly multiple red flags start to emerge in conversation. You realize the connection just isn't there, so you desperately start searching for an out. This is where a London bar, the Brickyard, would come in to save the day.
In the event you stumble into a bad date at the Brickyard bar in St. Albans, Metro reports that all you need to do is follow the bar's rules sitting in the women's bathroom.
The rules read:
"If you're on a date and it's not going well, come to the bar and ask for Rachelle or Jennifer and we'll get you out of it and/or get you a taxi. Your safety and happiness is our highest priority."
And just like that, you can go from date hell to sitting in your PJs back at home, binge-watching Game of Thrones—all thanks to the bar that took your safety as a priority. But before you go bagging on the restaurant for only covering the safety of women, Brickyard explains in a statement, "In all honesty, we had no idea our sign would attract this level of attention but in light of the extent of the feedback received we have plans in place already to launch a similar safety campaign for men."
Now if only every bar we hit up had a policy like this one.
