New Yorker or not, everyone should know the right way to eat a classic New York slice by now. But apparently, Ohio governor John Kasich never got the memo.

@CNN never vote for a guy who eats pizza with a fork

CNN captured footage of the Republican candidate attacking his massive slice from Gino’s Pizzeria in Queens with a fork, rejecting the classic fold. In true political fashion, he had an excuse at the ready—but not a very good one. Kasich tells Good Morning America,
Of course, Kasich is far from the first politician to pull a stunt like this. After all, New York’s own mayor, Bill de Blasio, was caught doing the same thing a couple years ago. He tried to defend his actions, stating in 2014, “I will continue to express my own culture in my own way and when I get a pizza like that, I’m going to eat with a knife and fork.” And who could forget when Donald Trump grabbed pizza with Sarah Palin, eating it with a knife and fork?

In other news, Trump defender and New Jersey governor Chris Christie appears to have some odd eating habits of his own. Christie was snapped pouring a small bag of M&Ms into a larger M&Ms box recently. Why? Christie tells local radio show Boomer & Carlton, “You get the box, you open the box, there’s a bag inside the box. Why they do it that way, I have no idea. But you open up the bag, pour the bag into the box. It’s easier.”
