When diver and Olympic bronze medalist Tom Daley set out to post an Instagram photo of the English breakfast he was making for his American boyfriend, Dustin Lance Black, he wasn’t prepared for the outpour of responses he would receive over his frying pan.
Just one quick look at the cooking device and you might have one of two responses:
1. “Wow, what a convenient way to make breakfast.”
2. “There is no way in hell that pan can properly cook all those items at once.”
The MasterPan All-In-One Frying Pan, however, is capable of making breakfast dreams come true.
I *need* Tom Daley’s frying pan in my life pic.twitter.com/8OjqojN9vx

The fry pan has designated sections, so you can simultaneously cook your eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and beans. The item description reads,
But not everyone on the internet was sold.
Can someone explain to me why Tom Daley’s pan is so great? It looks hugely unwieldy and like it would cook things really unequally…

OK, also, think about cleaning Tom Daley’s stupid frying pan. It’s not going to fit in a dishwasher.

To settle the score once and for all, Daley’s boyfriend took to Instagram to prove the pan was no hoax.
According to the Daily Mail, as a result of the press, the MasterPan saw a spike in sales. After the photo was posted, The Fowndry, the company behind the pan, sold out of the product (meant to last for three months) within three days. All for a good English breakfast.
