Master of None creator and star Aziz Ansari is currently hoping around Trivandrum, the capital of the southern Indian state of Kerala.

The area is known for its palm wine and ridiculously good food—including fish curry with turmeric and coconut, fiery chili chicken, and beautiful red matta rice—and Ansari is all up in that shit. Here, Ansari films dudes on the street making parotta, or flaky and buttery flatbread.

These dudes don’t fuck around when making their parottas.

But Ansari isn’t stopping there. While in India, he hits up a chai wallah (or person who makes chai) to get a glass of the sweetened milky tea. Look at this guy’s technique!

Tea. Look at that technique!

Aziz also ‘grammed a plate of chili chicken as well as a gorgeous South Indian thali (which you can think of as a sampler platter on a banana leaf) complete with shrimp, raita, red matta rice, and curry. Sensational.

Mubarak in Trivandrum. Incredible. Anyone got any Trivandrum food recs? Any must visits??

We can only hope the comedian continues his travels throughout India and keeps on ‘gramming his ridiculous-looking eats.
