Chances are you’re stoked about the release of City of Gold, the documentary about Los Angeles’ most influential food scribe, Jonathan Gold. Directed by Laura Gabbert (No Impact Man), the film explores how Gold forever changed Angelenos’ eating habits by recasting immigrant restaurants— located far outside the confines of Beverly Hills—into heroes of the city’s dining scene. (Basically, if you’re visiting Los Angeles and have smoked sturgeon tacos and sweet grilled pork neck on your radar, you best believe that’s in large part because of our main man.)

Needless to say, we’re excited to help bring Jonathan Gold’s documentary to NYC in partnership with the DOC NYC festival (Nov 12-19). The screening will take place at Chelsea’s SVA Theatre at 7:15pm on Saturday Nov 14, 2015. You’d be a fool to miss it.

Head to the DOC NYC website to get tickets.
