As you all know, back in July, federal agents raided Subway spokeman Jared Fogle’s home as part of a child pornography crackdown. A little over a month later, it was revealed that Fogle would in fact be pleading guilty to charges of possessing child pornography. But the saga didn’t simply end there. Agents apparently got ahold of text messages in which Fogle bragged about paying for sex with a 16-year-old girl.
The evidence against Fogle has now gotten more horrifying. According to a recent interview on Dr. Phil, a woman named Rochelle Herman-Walrond claims she has numerous recordings of conversations she held with Fogle over a span of four years in which he not only admits that he’s attracted to both young girls and young boys, but that his best sexual experience was with an 11 or 12-year-old girl. “It was wonderful,” the voice (allegedly Fogle’s) says on one of the recordings.
Herman-Walrond first befriended Fogle ten years ago when he was a guest on her radio show. About four years ago, she says she started wearing a wire to record conversations in which he discusses sex with minors. Herman-Walrond claims she did so in order to submit the recordings to the authorities, though the FBI has yet to confirm (or deny) her claims.
Fogle has already paid $1.1 million to 11 of his 14 victims, and will be sentenced for his crimes on November 19, facing up to 12 years in prison.
