In one of the most insane fast-food moves ever, Taco Bell has added a new taco to its menu featuring a shell made of fried chicken. The chain is calling it the “Naked Crispy Chicken Taco.”

Foodbeast made a few calls to confirm that that the Naked Crispy Chicken Taco is in fact real. Here’s the details, for all you paleo fanatics and Double-Down lovers out there:
[pullquote]”[The Naked Crispy Chicken Taco] features a breaded white-meat chicken shell that’s filled with lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese and an avocado ranch sauce.“[/pullquote]
The fried-chicken-shell taco has been spotted at two Taco Bells that we know of. It was first ordered by a Foodbeast reader in Lost Hills, CA (where the taco is available individually for $2.49), and then by a Redditor in Bakersfield, CA (where it costs $2.99 for a single taco).

Some Taco Bell fans are really into the fried-chicken-shell taco.
Fly me to California so I can eat that Taco Bell taco where the shell is made of fried chicken.

Meanwhile, others aren’t having it.
