The self-proclaimed ‘best rapper alive’ celebrated his 33rd birthday this weekend, and did so with a menu that would make any middle schooler drool; there was Popeyes chicken and biscuits, enough Slurpees to quench the thirst of a small village, and a customized Weezy cake.
According to Hip Hop Wired, the party was the brainchild of, well, Wayne’s child. Lil Tunechi’s daughter Reginae Carter threw him the Miami surprise party and picked the menu, which featured all of her dad’s favorites.
Reginae also got her pops a custom cake with an edible photo of Wayne and the Young Money logo done up in red frosting, adding another great example to a long tradition of extravagant rapper birthday cakes.
Wayne’s cake is pretty impressive, but not quite as over-the-top as the confection at Drake’s 27th birthday celebration. At his well-documented party, Aubrey unveiled a Toronto cityscape crafted from butter, flour, and sugar, complete with landmarks from his life like Habibiz Café, Starbucks, and the “Started from the Bottom” billboard.
