The summer of insane shark sightings continues, this time featuring a fearless seal.
While on a trip around the Cape Cod coast with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, Dr. Greg Skomal of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries spotted a great white shark ready to catch his next meal.
Dr. Skomal was able to catch the action in the footage above. Watch as the shark pursues the seal, who in return b*tch slaps the shark and then flees.
The shark is one of two great whites that have been spotted in the Cape Cod area early Monday. The 12-foot long sharks have since been tagged so researchers can monitor their whereabouts.
Additionally, CBS reports that last week a great white was spotted biting a seal and regurgitating it onto the shore, resulting in the closure of the Massachusetts beach.
