Facebook is home to countless photos of newborn babies, weddings, and uninspired engagement photos. No one understands just how monotonous these photos can get better than David Sikorski.

The San Franciscan decided to take matters into his own hands, creating the most heartwarming engagement photos known to man. Sikorski posed with the love of his life, a burrito. The two are now officially engaged on Facebook.

In an interview with BuzzFeed, Sikorski explains why he decided to post the pictures of him and the lucky carne asada burrito from Taqueria La Cumbre in the Mission district.

“With so many domesticated photos of staged afternoon picnics in the park or holding hands running along the beach, I figured people would be interested in sharing the happiness of my own current love life situation as well.”

David and baerrito took photos at iconic San Francisco locations ranging from the Golden Gate Bridge to Alamo Square.

Sikorski opened up to BuzzFeed about the pros and cons of being engaged to a burrito. Sikorski says he has struggled with monogamy throughout their relationship, even on the photoshoot. When faced with temptation, he isn’t always able to say no.

He says, “I got hungry during the shoot and a second burrito was needed to step in.”

Fortunately, the burrito was cool with it and the two continued their love-filled afternoon. Sikorski explains that while the two are happily engaged, there is no rush to get married. We wonder if they’ll serve Mexican food at the celebration.

We wish David and his carne asada burrito all the best. Here’s to many more romantic trolley rides down Market Street in the future.
