Diet Coke has previously enlisted Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, and Jean Paul Gaultier to design limited-edition bottles. The newest designer to rebrand the Diet Coke packaging will be London’s Jonathan Anderson. “There’s not many chances in life that you get to project onto such an iconic form,” says the designer.
“The unique collaboration will utilize bold hyper-realistic photography and take inspiration from J.W Anderson’s signature knitwear prints,” according to Hypebeast. The J.W. Anderson collaboration is notable in that it marks the first time that Diet Coke has used photography on its bottles.
A limited-edition collector’s box set, featuring JW Anderson’s Diet Coke bottles and an Anderson-designed notebook, will be available from Harvey Nichols stores nationwide starting August 17.
