Things got heated at a family barbecue in Muncie, Indiana over Memorial Day Weekend. One woman was hospitalized after her family friend, Sabrina Davis, stabbed her in the eye with a fork—all because she confronted Davis about taking the last rib at the cookout.

Davis was using a fork to take the rib from a pan when the victim told her she couldn’t take the last rib, and proceeded to move the pan away from her. Davis then turned and stabbed her family friend in the eye.

When the cops showed up, Davis told officers she was acting in self-defense after the victim pulled out a knife during the argument. “Davis states she stabbed (the victim) in the eye so she wouldn’t stab her with the knife,” said one officer. haaa

“The victim was taken to the hospital for lacerations and a swollen eye and later released,” according to FOX59 News; meanwhile, Davis was arrested and charged with criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.

A neighbor tells FOX59, “BBQ is good and all that, but it’s not worth sticking someone in the eye with a fork, you know?”

That’s debatable.
