For the second time, Karl Lagerfeld has combined food and fashion for his Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week. Last year he turned the Grand Palais into a high end supermarket (“the pop art of today”), but this time his backdrop is that most Parisian of institutions: the café.

Lagerfeld admitted last year he doesn’t frequent supermarkets, but he seemed much more at home at “Brasserie Gabrielle,” complete with waiters, croissants, and models showing off his fall/winter ready-to-wear collection.
