We’ve always admired San Francisco for its street-meat game. It’s easy to stumble upon a Danger Dog or taco cart as you spill out from the bars. We just never realized they took things so…literally.

The ten second video clip above shows a restaurant worker from Lucky River restaurant tenderizing frozen slabs of meat on the sidewalk. The thwack heard round’ the world! Giants baseball legend Bobby Thomson would be proud.

It’s an unsightly scene, but one we’re all too familiar with. Thanks to the Golden Corral whistleblower, we know the scummy realities of health code violations.

According to CBS, the restaurant remains open. So if you want to channel your inner Zimmern and discover the terroir of concrete, we’re all for it.
