The world’s cheesiest pizza was just created in Melbourne, Australia. The pie—created by Johnny di Francesco, who runs the pizzeria 400 Gradi—has 99 (count it) different cheeses piled on top of one crust. According to the Guardian Australia, Di Francesco melted together 94 cheeses, including everything from Gorgonzola to Swiss to double cream brie, into what he calls a “super cheese” (which is something we want to keep in our fridge always and forever).
Di Francesco spread the super cheese directly on top of the crust before scattering the remaining five cheeses—including buffalo mozzarella, ricotta, and goat—across the top. So, why stop at 99 cheeses?
Grub Street points out that, in the recent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, Donatello swears a 99-cheese pizza is a “culinary impossibility”—something that the Melbourne pizzeria set out to disprove.
I mean, if you’re going to do an outlandish publicity stunt, why not create a pizza with 99 cheeses, amirite?

Apparently, the super-cheese pie ($23) is pretty awesome. NDTV reports,
We asked Paulie Giannone, the man behind the spectacular Paulie Gee’s in Greenpoint, if he had thoughts or #feelings about the pie. His response: “There are 99 cheeses??”
