Brace yourself for Instagram feeds to be filled with janky DIY Cronuts—Dominique Ansel’s top-secret Cronut recipe has been revealed to the world.

This officially recipe will take you three days to make at home, and it’s available exclusively on the Good Morning America website. 

The DIY Cronut recipe will also be featured in Ansel’s book, Dominique Ansel: The Secret Recipes, which is available for pre-order on Amazon.

The dumbed-down Cronut recipe has four components: pastry dough, butter block, glaze, and flavored sugar.

  • Day 1 is when you make the pastry dough and butter block
  • Day 2 is when you laminate the dough
  • Day 3 (the most labor-intensive day) is when the rolling-out, proofing, frying, filling, and glazing takes place

Ansel has graciously provided the recipe for two different types of flavored sugar (vanilla and maple), and three different types of glaze:

  • Rose Glaze
  • Lemon Glaze
  • Champagne-Chocolate Glaze

Start cooking now, and you’ll be eating homemade Cronuts by Wednesday.
