Bon Appetit released the 50 nominees for 2014’s Best New Restaurants list this week, and Los Angeles has more nominees than any other city. There a total of five L.A. restaurants nominated, which means L.A. restos make up 10% of the entire list. New York City has four nominees on the list: Estela, Luksus, Sushi Nakazawa, and Uncle Boon’s.
Bon App restaurant editor Andrew Knowlton tells LA Weekly,
Knowlton isn’t the only one who has the hots for Los Angeles. Late last year, Ruth Reichl proclaimed that “L.A. is the most important place in America to eat right now.”
