Never one to let his talents go unnoticed, Seattle Seahawks’ cornerback Richard Sherman has teamed up with Michelle Obama to share his “best in the game” cooking prowess. As the above video illustrates, Sherman is now lending his (slightly toned-down) voice to help FLOTUS promote her Let’s Move initiative to fight the epidemic of childhood obesity.
Spoofing his infamous Erin Andrews interview, the video opens up with a nattily-clad Sherman (bow tie and apron, natch) meticulously preparing a healthy, kid-friendly lunch alongside his Seahawks sous chefs.
After whipping up salmon cakes, corn, and succotash, he presents his final plate and joins sideline interviewer Mrs. Obama (markedly less terrified than Erin Andrews, but rightfully so) for a short Q+A. His take on the delicious accomplishment? It was easy—after all, his team is made up of the best chefs in the game.
