Ramen has become one of New York’s most pervasive food obsessions—inventive takes on traditional bowls, late-night ramen spots, and even ramen pop-ups have taken over the city.

Now, Complex City Guide has immortalized NYC’s best ramen with GIFs detailing the construction of each bowl. Head to the website to watch Ivan Ramen Slurp Shop’s shoyu ramen, Jinya’s tonkotsu black ramen, and Chuko’s kimchi ramen magically come together.
