On Monday, 13-year-old Danielle Lei set up shop outside Colorado’s Green Cross Dispensary, hoping to sell a few extra boxes of Girl Scout Cookies. Little did she know she’d hit an untapped market, and only hours later her story went viral on the internet. Danielle sold almost 120 boxes in an unbelievably short period of time.

After interviewing Danielle’s mother Carol, Mashable writes:

“Carol said her two middle-school-aged daughters have sold Girl Scout cookies outside a medical marijuana clinic before, though this was the first time they stopped by The Green Cross. She usually has them set up shop at various points around San Francisco so they can learn about different environments while earning some cash.”

Ironically, there happens to be a strain of marijuana known as “Girl Scout Cookie.” Perhaps they could start selling Girl Scout Cookie-infused cookies to stoned people everywhere?

Modern Luxury interviewed Caleb Pershan, professional cannabis writer, about what strains of weed one might pair with a samoa or a thin mint.

Tag-a-longs

“Luscious peanut butter and chocolate cookies are best eaten by the box-full, so stimulate your appetite while basically immobilizing yourself with a strong indica choice like Northern Lights. Pure indica strains, like Tagalongs, are known for stress relief and relaxation: use them in concert for the effects of a ‘cabernet and Ambien’ pairing.”

Samoas

“The coconut goodness of Samoas will take you most of the way to the islands. To get the rest of the way there, use Pineapple Express. Note tropical fruit aromas as you experience an energetic high, but beware negative side effects like listening to repetitive reggae music.”

“Okay, these turnt up peanut butter numbers could give George Washington Carver an allergic reaction, but instead of tempering them with a mellow high, get equally aggressive with an industrial strength strain like Alaskan Thunder Fuck. You’re in for a potent cerebral high with sweet sage notes.”

Thin Mints

“Before you bite into the ur-Girl Scout cookie, it’s only fitting to light up a bowl of Girl Scout Cookies—the strain, that is. Popularized by the San Francisco rapper appropriately named Berner and widely heralded as the hottest strain of last year, this sweet hybrid is what you’ve been jealously smelling in Dolores Park.”
