Jerome Davis of Des Moines, Iowa pulled a knife on his brother after he criticized Jerome for making and eating six peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in an hour.
According to The Daily Mail, Davis has a handful of drug-related criminal convictions (including three drug-related convictions) dating back over 20 years.
Now back to the sandwich altercation: According to the arrest report obtained by the Des Moines Register, Davis “made three peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ate them in the living room. Within the next hour, the suspect made another 3 of these peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.”
This brought “his total consumption of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to six. This angered the victim,” the report continued. This is when Davis’ brother accused him of being an overeater, at which point things got wild.
“Both victim and suspect began yelling about the other being lazy and ‘eating again,'” said the report.
Davis then pulled out a knife, held it to his brother’s face, and threatened to cut him. Police then arrived at the scene, and Davis told the coppers he pulled the knife on his brother because he wouldn’t “shut the f**k up and mind his own business.”
Davis was charged with domestic assault with a weapon and hauled back to jail pending trial, where he (probably) ate another 20 PB&J sandwiches.
