PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is notorious for its shocking—and to some, offensive—advertisements. We’re not even going to talk about their red paint throwing and gruesome depictions of animals being slaughtered.
What are we going to talk about? How the brand shamelessly uses photos of scantily-clad, sexy women accompanied by slogans like “All animals have the same parts” and “Eating meat is a sin: Go vegetarian.” But, hey, everybody knows sex sells, and PETA definitely garners attention with its striking campaigns.
