After Bun B shared his favorite Houston food trucks with First We Feast, we knew the Southern rapper wasn’t playing around when it comes to seeking out new and interesting grub. So it didn’t come as a huge surprise to learn that the Texas rap giant has just launched his own food website,, with Premium Pete of The Combat Jack Show and SneakerTube. The online magazine features restaurant reviews, recipes from well-known chefs, and recommendations. It’s also part social media platform, inviting viewers to post their food-photography to the site’s What Did You Eat Today section.

It’ll be interesting to see where Bun and the team take this. The project is the latest example of artists turning their non-music interests into lifestyle websites, such as DJ A-Trak’s travel site, Infinite Leg Room, which he launched back in February. Apparently, rappers and DJs have decided to use their globe-trotting lifestyles to entertain and educate us. Doesn’t sound like a bad idea.
