When Danish chefs Bo Lindegaard and Lasse Askov met in culinary school they weren’t initially friends—they didn’t even like each other. They joined forces in the end and started a company instead of opening up a restaurant to compete with the rest of their classmates for Michelin stars. Under the collective “I’m a Kombo”, the chefs have pursued a host of projects. Their most recent is The Social Act, a part-time restaurant of sorts in Copenhagen where they host a series of dinners that are built on nine different themes (“Fun” was the first). Striving to be unique, Lindehaard and Askov hope to create a truly unforgettable experience, one that cannot be compared to any other in dining game.
