It took roughly 14 years in the rap game before 2 Chainz finally became a household name. Born Tauheed Epps in College Park, Georgia—and first rhyming under the moniker Tity Boi with hip-hop duo Playaz Circle—the MC learned a little something about struggle and sacrifice over the years. But once 2 Chainz hit the big time—recording platinum albums, launching a clothing line, and signing artists to his record label—he never looked back, embracing  only the finer things.

With that in mind, it only makes sense that the Atlanta rapper would eventually partner with GQ for a show called “Most Expensivest Shit,” a web series which follows 2 Chainz as he samples some of most decadent, over-the-top items money can buy. Over the course of the show’s three season, 2 Chainz has tested out a $500,000 bong, a $50,000 pair of sunglasses, and, of course, some ridiculously expensive foods and drinks.

Throughout the rapper’s career, 2 Chainz has often established himself as a rap game gourmand. Just last month, the rapper released his most recent mixtape, Hibachi for Lunch, and treated 20 fans to lunch at an Atlanta Benihana. Earlier this year, he announced that his first restaurant and lounge, Escobar, would soon be opening in the city, and over the years he’s frequently rapped about his eating and drinking habits in his lyric, shouting out everything from snacks (“Gucci flip flops, I got bunions on bunions / Yellow ring look like a Funyon, or somethin’”) to Chinese takeout (“I just call her boo, I don’t know her whole name / Keep it on the low mane, all we eat is lo mein”).

Now, as 2 Chainz has solidified his place as one of the most prolific food rappers in the business, we pause to appreciate the "most expensivest shit" the rapper has eaten and imbibed over the years.
