Copenhagen’s Chili Klaus organized an event on June 5th at which 1,000 people ate the notorious Ghost Chili (bhut jolokia). At around 1,000,000 heat units on the Scoville scale, the Ghost Chili is one of the hottest chili peppers known to man—401 times hotter than Tabasco sauce.
Some people attempted to quell the fire with milk and yogurt, but they were ultimately helpless against the wrath of the Ghost pepper.
Watch people cry, throw up milk, and sweat from the pepper’s merciless heat.
We have to wonder: Is this like reparations? But Denmark is the second most peaceful country in the world! We don’t get it…
