In the past, we’ve explored the growing trend of musicians collaborating with brewers, which turned the old model of booze inspiring tunes on tis head.

Aging heavy bands like Sepultura and Slayer seem particularly keen to get on the action, which makes sense—after all the mayhem and mosh pits, most of the members are now just pleasant old dudes who want a session beer they can sip while mowing the lawn or telling old tour stories down at the pub.

The latest to join the pack is Iron Maiden, led by frontman Bruce Dickinson, who has teamed up with the traditional English brewer Robinsons to create Trooper Ale.
