Good news for those wishing that Ben & Jerry’s would combine their delicious ice cream with other mood-altering substances: The company is collaborating with New Belgium Brewing to bring you Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale in Fall 2015.

Fans of dessert-themed beers like Southern Tier’s Creme Brulee or even New Belgium’s own Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout should be intrigued by this collabo. Even casual fans of Ben & Jerry’s know about the company’s commitment to social justice, which is one reason they teamed up with like-minded New Belgium. Senior Global Marketing Manager of Ben & Jerry’s, Jay Curley, told

“We’re big fans of New Belgium Brewery, their values, and their fun culture, and of course their beer. We’re excited for the campaign we’ve developed together. When two B Corps collaborate our fans can expect something both delicious and impactful.”

Beer Street Journal reports that some of the proceeds from the limited-edition brew will benefit and raise awareness for Protect Our Winters, an organization founded by pro-snowboarder Jeremy Jones that seeks to lessen the impact of climate change on America’s snowy mountain peaks. We can definitely drink to that.

According to the official press release, campaign plans surrounding the beer are still in development, but an official announcement will be released later this year that gives more specifics. New Belgium Director of Sustainability Jenn Vervier said,

“Although our TTB filing for the beer is now public, specifics around the campaign are still in development. At this time I can confirm that Ben & Jerry’s and New Belgium are collaborating to raise awareness around issues we are passionate about, and that the results will be delicious.”

Can you imagine a beer float made with Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale and Ben & Jerry’s Salted Caramel Blondie ice cream? Unreal.

Fun factNew Belgium wasn’t even ready to announce the beer, but the brewery sent out a press release after the TTB made the labels public.
