Back in 2012, Justin Bieber could be seen vomiting on stage after eating a stomach-churning dinner of spaghetti and milk before a show in Arizona. Now, some four years later, it seems the Biebs still hasn’t learned his lesson when it comes to dairy. The 22-year-old singer was spotted chugging some cold milk at a pub outside London last week, and now someone is selling the glass on eBay for a whopping £65,900—or roughly $81,000, USD.
According to Mashable, Bieber took a break from his current Purpose World Tour to have a low-key dinner at the Kings Oak hotel in Epping Forest. Bieber ate some salmon and mashed potatoes, and of course washed it all down with a cup of milk for some strange, unknowable reason.
Apparently, one “entrepreneurial member of the staff” stole the dairy-stained glass and began the eBay auction four days ago at just £10. By Tuesday, the price had shot up astronomically, collecting 86 separate bids on the "unwashed" glass.
Still, the auction isn't all about the cash. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to the Essex chapter of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, while the other 90 percent will presumably go toward the server’s early retirement fund.
Despite the bidding war for Bieber’s milk glass, the enthusiasm apparently doesn’t extend to other pop-star-approved beverages. Another employee at the the Kings Oak hotel reportedly saw the success of the milk glass auction and grabbed Bieber's used water glass from the same meal. Though the cup is also unwashed, the highest big on the water glass is currently only at £99.
Perhaps Bieber has been the one behind these auctions all along. With the extra cash, he might be able to order a sandwich at Subway without having his credit card declined.
