You’re in luck if you like to have your weed and drink it too: According to Mashable, a California Distillery is now selling vodka infused with bud. Called Humboldt’s Finest, it is produced by Humboldt Distillery, which is located in NorCal’s marijuana-growing epicenter. While you most definitely can get wasted doing shots of this vodka, don’t expect to get stoned off of the, err, marijuavodka.
The distillery is flavoring the booze with legally-grown hemp, which by law must have a “THC content of less than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis,” notes the company’s press release. Head distiller Abe Stevens explains that his product “retain[s] an herbal and aromatic quality reminiscent of fresh cannabis.” He even suggests using the botanical vodka in place of gin in classic cocktails to give the a “fresh spin.”

Stevens says that he is just trying to do what the people want: “As the vodka has grown in popularity, I’ve found more and more consumers asking us to add some of the ‘local flavor’ to our alcohol.” The vodka is available in California and Colorado, and a 750 ml bottle will set you back $29.99, or three dime bags of weed.
There are other weed-infused drinks on the market (or coming soon to market) that will get people stoned, all while helping wash down all those other pot-based treats . Mirth Provisions, a Washington-based company, is working on a line of cold brew called Legal that will be infused with THC. Each 11 oz bottle will contain 20mg of THC, giving drinkers a double buzz. And in 2014, Trichrome, a “cannabis lifestyle shop” in Seattle, started selling a greener take on Bulletproof coffee—which is a blend of coffee, butter, and oil— swapping the regular oil for one made with cannabis.
