A brawl between rapper Busta Rhymes and a Steel Gym employee broke out Wednesday night in Manhattan, and it involved a container of strawberry Muscle Milk.

The fight allegedly began at the Chelsea gym after the employee wouldn’t allow Busta to bring a camera crew in to record his workout. After the employee denied the camera man entrance, Busta splashed water on the man and then the employee did the same. According to eyewitness Sean Aird, “Busta’s security got between them. The cops came and (the employee) kept changing his story.” Rhymes allegedly hit the man on the head with a 17-ounce container of a strawberry protein drink, which will probably leave Busta with a second-degree assault charge.

Thanks to everyone who helped expedite this evening for me. I’m good and we’re back to the grind. Heading 2 the studio 2 turn the bullshit into GREATNESS. I’m super good. #THECONGLOMERATE.

Employees tell the New York Daily News that the tension between Busta and the man is nothing new and their dislike towards one another “had been going on for a long time.” It was just a matter of time before someone blew a fuse.

Rhymes was released early Thursday morning. Rhymes lawyer notes, “It’s ridiculous, it was literally a bottle of Muscle Milk.”
