Starbucks just announced its latest seasonal creation, a Chestnut Praline Latte, which will hit stores on November 12. Yes, you will soon have a new, Christmassy beverage to sip while curled up by the fire in your favorite pinks Uggs reading 50 Shades of Grey. Rejoice.
The latte—Starbucks’ “first new handcrafted beverage in five years”—contains the unthinkably sugary combination of chestnut praline syrup, whipped cream, and praline crumbles. The #CPL debuted last year in a few select cities, but this is the first year that it will be available nationally. All we know is we can’t wait to spike this liquified dessert with Butterscotch Schnapps for a true #seasonalturnup.
We’re not sure if there’s going to be Pumpkin Spice and Chestnut Praline latte overlap, but if it does, it’ll be like a solar eclipse of basic-ness and the world might explode. The PSL season started mad early this year, so it wouldn’t be surprising if it stretches into November.
Here’s what folks on Twitter are saying about the new Chestnut Praline Latte.
