If you’re in a beer rut or unsure what to order at your local bar, turn to Beerviz. The website was created to help beer fans discover brews that fit their specific taste preferences.

First, users are invited to choose light, medium, or dark beer. From there, Beerviz sorts discoveries by appearance, taste, aroma, and overall reviews.

Beer names form a minimalist wheel, color coded by brewer and category. Users click on any one of the beers in the circle, which immediately connects them to three or four similar picks across the wheel.

Choosing La Chouffe, for example, highlights links to fellow Belgian strong pale ales Damnation and Mischief. It also lights up lines to Belgian light pale ales Ommegang BPA, Redemption, and RareVoss Amber Ale.

Beerviz is a cool tool for beer aficionados and newbies alike. It is easy to use and beautifully designed, not to mention the fact that it’s backed by 10 years of research.
