If you have 4,000 extra dollars just lying around your bedroom, Michter’s limited edition run of its Celebration Sour Mash Whiskey is the perfect Christmas gift for the opulent alcoholic whiskey connoisseur in your life.
The AP reports that a full bottle is expected to sell for $4,000, while shots come go for $350 each. Only 273 bottles of the rare whiskey exist, including some that have been aged for up to 30 years.
Michter’s Master Distiller Willie Pratt hand selected sour mash whiskey from his favorite 30-year-old and 20-year-old barrels, and blended them to create Michter’s Celebration. Not impressed yet? There’s 18-karat-gold labeling screen-printed onto the bottle.
While we’re already dreaming of booze we can’t afford, why not take a look at the most expensive bottles of whiskey that money can buy? After you buy your Lamborghini and a pair of diamond-encrusted kicks, pick up one of these bottles of liquid gold.
