We’re all partial to our local craft-beer haunts, but it’s interesting to see which spots garner the most excitement across the country. The latest survey to offer a look at the coast-to-coast landscape is the second annual Great American Beer Bar awards, voted upon by readers of CraftBeer.com.

The fact that the site, run by the Brewers Association, is industry-centric certainly makes the list different from one you might get from a beer writer or a less trade-oriented publication. That said, if your bar is still standing after 5,000 nominations and 37,000 votes, it must be doing something right.

In the overall rankings, Mekong—a beer-focused Vietnamese restaurant in Richmond, VA—defended its title, but there are also regional winners, including some of our own favorites at FWF, including Toronado in San Francisco and ChurchKey in Washington D.C. Check them all out below.
