Apologies to the non-beer lovers around here—it’s been a sudsy Hump Day over here, no doubt. Earlier we dropped our list of 30 Great IPAs to Drink Before You Die, then shared news of the new Iron Maiden beer hitting the market in the U.K. So, what better way to end the day than with more exciting news from the world of music-beer collabos?
Grubstreet got its hands on the two tracks that Bonnie “Prince” Billy made to commemorate the release of Dogfish Head’s forthcoming Sixty-One, which marries the beloved 60 Minute IPA with Syrah grape to create another beer-wine hybrid—something that has become one of the brewery’s (many) calling cards.
As with Positive Contact, which was conceived with Dan the Automator and released with a 10-inch vinyl EP of four new Deltron 3030 remixes, this beer release will be accompanied by 500 special-edition vinyl records of Bonnie “Prince” Billy’s tracks (sadly, those’ll be available only at the Dogfish brewpub in Delware). Here’s a description and backstory from the Dogfish press release:
The song are available to listen to right now over at Grubstreet.
