If you’re looking to shake up your beer-drinking routine in NYC, look no further than Time Out New York’s latest Beer issue, which hits newstands this week and is currently online in full right here.

Even for aficionados of the local suds landscape, there’s plenty to dig into. Of particular note is a big feature on the rise of the Queens beer scene, which boasts four brand-new breweries—including the awesome SingleCut Beersmith—and a number of beer-centric restaurants and bars. There’s also a preview of Tørst, the highly anticipated Brooklyn bar helmed by Evil Twin’s Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø and chef Daniel Burns of the Momofuku food lab. We’ve heard for a while that this spot is pretty much setting out to be the most ambitious beer bar in America, and some of the details here—including a Scandinavian-inflected tasting menu with beer pairings instead of wine—confirm that they aren’t messing around.

You’ll also find some of the city’s best dishes cooked with beer, a breakdown of upgraded beer-and-shot pairings, and a whole lot more. Check out the whole package over at TONY.
