New short-form slate brings original shows to Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, reaching audiences where they consume content most.
First We Feast is launching three new original social series as part of a new "always-on" programming strategy, featuring a mix of hosted and unhosted formats, celebrity guests and everyday people, and topics spanning food, pop culture and Hot Ones spinoffs.
Produced entirely by the First We Feast social team, the weekly series will run 1–5 minutes and be distributed across dedicated social channels in collaboration with First We Feast accounts.
Hearts on Fire, premiering August 24th 8:30pm ET, is a dating series where singles get to know each other over a romantic meal while taking on a Hot Ones-inspired gauntlet of increasingly spicy wings, with each round paired with revealing questions designed to test their chemistry and compatibility. The date culminates in a final decision, as each participant independently decides whether they want to see their match again. Hearts on Fire social handles: Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook
The Hot Line, hosted by Marie Faustin, premiered on August 19th and features everyday callers bringing their hottest takes, petty grievances, social dilemmas, and unbelievable stories, all trying to convince Marie they are right while she snacks on some of her favorite goodies. "We know fans have been engaging with Hot Ones and our broader YouTube slate for years, through viral clips and memes on platforms like Instagram and TikTok," said Megan Bailey, director of social media for First We Feast. "Now it’s about meeting that audience where they already are and giving them more of what they love. We’re excited to expand our lineup into short form series, with fresh formats and new hosts."
The new social-first slate is designed to engage First We Feast's audience of more than 17 million social followers with original content built specifically for vertical, short-form viewing.
