What’s almost as good as winning the Stanley Cup? Filling that cup with awesome things, like food (and babies).

On June 13th, 2014, the LA Kings tied up the Stanley Cup Finals in Game 5 with a 4 to 1 series win over the New York Rangers. Ever since then, it’s been a nonstop party, and the Twittersphere has exploded with photos of the Stanley Cup filled with meatballs, babies, M&Ms, and the like.

To commemorate, we thought we’d look back at the food and drinks that have filled the championship trophy since the Kings’ victory.

Memorable food and drink moments from the 2014 LA Kings’ reign

This weekend, the LA Kings staff ate meatballs out of the Stanley Cup.

Jonathan Quick had a quiet celebration at the French Laundry.

Justin Williams just chilled out with the Cup, his dog, and some cake.

Kyle Clifford decided to put his baby in the Cup.

Erin Andrews got her drink on from the Cup.

Marian Gaborik just showed everyone how to live the life.

Alec Martinez and Justin Williams went on Jimmy Kimmel.

Alec Martinez took the Cup to a bar and partied with some regular, peanut, and peanut butter M&Ms.

There’s even a video of the Cup filled with M&Ms.

We love a sport that has fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously—even though the game is serious business.
